A week ago today, Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico. Maria’s devastating effects promise to linger. Michelle Gonzolez, Suzuki Violin and Viola teacher, DaCapo and Sinfonia Orchestra Conductor, Ascension Catholic School Conductor, and MacPhail Northside Youth Orchestra Conductor, is raising money for the relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
Ms Gonzolez will host a performathon
of students and professional musicians at St. Frances Cabrini Church on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 from noon – 3 pm. There is a $10 suggested donation collected at the door. A light reception is available throughout the event. The event is an open to the public. Audience members are welcome to arrive and leave at any time.
